The OCCC accomplishes this by providing
WIOA Corpsmembers opportunities to complete their high school education through our WASC
accredited Charter School, professional, and personal development through our employment
services classes and workshops and providing paid employment on conservation crews that make
a difference to our community and environment, thus creating the necessary skills to develop
and maintain a positive work ethic while building self-sufficiency. The intent of exposure to
various post -secondary educational institutions is to provide a lasting foundation to enable youth
to enter the workforce and be successful, productive, members of society.
B.
