COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM <br />Various <br />To retain and attract businesses, jobs, and investment in SantaAna by providing timely information and <br />assistance to businesses, through various services and programs that foster business development. <br />Efforts focus on fostering a positive image of the City among professionals influencing site selection decisions <br />and communicating the availability of incentive programs designed to aid businesses. Extensive competition <br />and the need for a strong and diverse business base make it imperative that the Agency continues to <br />conduct a pro -active business retention & attraction program. <br />* Facilitated the negotiation of an Exclusive Negotiations Agreement for redevelopment of 3rd and Broadway parking <br />structure site. <br />* Completed sale and development of city -owned property at 1232-1244 S.
