This dooUmnt described and evaluated proposed improvements <br />consisting of a new 100-acre substation/switchyard, expansion to an existing <br />substation, and 'construction of 13-mile transmission line to conneotthem. The FTC <br />granted the applicotion In June 2012, <br />Mountain Empire Major Use Permit i County of San Diego <br />Tom worked with this team obtain Major Use permit from the County of San Diego <br />to allow a heavy equipment training facility, Key CEQA Issues were visual and noise <br />impacts. At this direction, Tom conducted a CEQA initial study and employed measures <br />so that the project qualified for a Mitigated Negative Declaration. Project completed in <br />2011. <br />Hazardous Material Assessment I City of Coachella <br />Tom developed and provided a hazardous material assessment (Phase I) related to <br />the removal of water line 48 from a street position and private property, The Phase I <br />identified historical contamination and Its reletlonship to hazardous material related to <br />the water line. Completed June 2017, <br />San Diego Natural Gas Pipeline CP'CN Application I SDG&E <br />Supported the project duringthe routing phase of a new 42-mile gas line.
