c) The new ALCS will be BACnet enabled. The awarded contractor will be tasked with <br />working with Santa Ana IT to ensure all necessary permissions and server access are <br />obtained. <br />d) Any existing controls system shall be demolished. <br />e) The contractor shall fully commission the ALCS and provide staff training. <br />f) Wireless controls signals shall adhere to 802.15.4 wireless protocol with AES -128 <br />encryption, or equivalent network security. <br />g) Maximum time delay adjustment shall be 30 minutes. <br />h) Sensors shall be capable of continuously dim fixtures and allow for user defined light <br />level tuning in the EMS. <br />i) The system will have the ability to program the on/off schedules for each lighting area. <br />General Requirements <br />The following should be clearly stated in and/or provided with all bids: <br />a) Contractor shall provide copies of a valid California C-10 Electrical license at a <br />minimum. <br />b) Prevailing wage labor costs to be used for project implementation. <br />c) All scheduling of work shall be done through the City's project contact. <br />d) Contractor shall commit to project construction completion and delivery of invoice <br />to Santa Ana by December 215', 2018. Any work not completed by that date, is not <br />guaranteed to receive payment, any exception to this completion date must be in <br />writing and can only be provided by Santa Ana city staff. <br />e) All work performed shall meet or exceed any applicable electrical code requirements, <br />including the installation of emergency powered fixtures in applicable areas. <br />f) Equipment and materials specified by contractors shall conform to the standards of UL, <br />ASTM, NEMA, ANSI, and ETL. Base materials shall be ASTM and/or ANSI standards. <br />Electrical manufactured apparatus furnished under this section shall conform to National <br />Electrical Manufacturer's Association (NEMA) standards and shall bear the Underwriters' <br />Laboratories (UL) or Electrical Testing Laboratory (ETL) label where such a label is <br />applicable. <br />14 of 41 <br />25C-44 <br />
