Call to order <br />Joe Truxaw called to order the regular meeting of Christ Our Savior Catholic Parish/ <br />Community Outreach Meeting at 7:03p on December 13, 2016 at 2000 W Alton Ave, <br />Santa Ana, CA 92704. <br />II. Meeting Attended by: <br />Fr. Steve Correz, Joe Truxaw, Luis Ramirez, Christ Our Savior Catholic Parish <br />David Pfeifer, AIA, Principal, DomusStudio Architecture <br />Joe Novoa, Director of Construction Management Services, Diocese of Orange <br />Christ Our Savior Catholic Parish (COSCP) community members <br />Community neighbors <br />III. Welcome and Prayer <br />Fr. Steve Correz, Pastor, Opening Prayer <br />Joe Truxaw, 10 year parishioner of COSCP, Pastoral Council and Building Committee <br />member - Welcome, and a brief explanation of the meeting purpose and background <br />on the project site. <br />Meeting Purpose: <br />1. To review and explore preliminary plans for the proposed development of a new <br />Church Campus on the existing Christ Our Savior parish property. <br />2. To obtain input from the community that will be used by the City of Santa Ana to <br />complete the ongoing site development process. <br />Background: <br />This original 14 acre site was purchased by the Diocese of Orange in 2002 from <br />the Segerstrom Family. In 2004 the City of Santa Ana granted a Conditional Use <br />Permit for construction of a 2650 seat cathedral facility. Christ Our Savior <br />Cathedral Parish was formed in 2005, worshiping in temporary facilities at nearby <br />Thorpe Fundamental and Segerstrom High School before moving onto the land in <br />3-107
