PROJECT TITLE: <br />Roosevelt / Walker Park Improvements <br />PROJECT CATEGORY: <br />City Facility Improvements <br /> Park Facility Improvements <br />PROJECT NEED: <br />In 2013, the City approved a Joint Use and <br />Reimbursement Agreement with the Santa Ana Unified <br />School District (SAUSD) for the construction of a <br />10,000 square foot Community Center, play equipment, <br />exercise area, community garden, basketball courts, <br />jogging track, multi-purpose field and parking lot on <br />SAUSD property. The project is 90% completed. <br />Additional funding of $400,000 was approved by City <br />Council that needs to be identified in the CIP as prior <br />year funding. <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br />Construction of new Joint Use Park site at <br />Roosevelt/Walker Elementary School.
