Exhibit A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />A. Provider shall conduct ESL classes for Adults. <br />B. Provider shall teach such or similar activities at the times provided below at facilities to be <br />designated by the City, Scheduling is provided below for the listed activities session or term, <br />including location, specific days and hours when activities will be held, and holidays to be <br />observed, in accordance with City's needs. <br />English as a Second Language CIESl") <br />Improve English Fluency, listening and accent prepare to use English successfully at work and in <br />your daily life. <br />INSTRUCTOR: Leif Larsen <br />LOCATION: El Salvador Center, 1825 W Civic Center St., Santa Ana, (714) 647-6558 <br />DAY TIME. COST <br />Thurs 7:00 P.M - 8:00 P.M $10 per week <br />C. Provider shall provide all materials, supplies, equipment, records and personnel. Provider shall <br />be responsible for clean-up of the facilities and materials and shall ensure the safety and <br />effectiveness of instruction. <br />D. Provider will allow one week in April, August and December for student grading instead of class <br />time. <br />CLASS SIZE <br />A. Each class must have a minimum of 3 paid students and no more than 18 students. <br />B. No registration will be accepted after the second meeting of classes. <br />C. If the minimum registration has not been reached by the second class, the class shall be canceled. <br />Provider will be under no obligation to provide services for the cancelled classes, and the City <br />will have no further obligations to pay Provider compensation for the remaining classes that were <br />cancelled in that session. <br />CLASS FEES <br />A. Each participant shall pay class registration fees as established by City. <br />B. Provider may not waive class participation/registration fees. <br />C. Only registered participants may participate in class. <br />D. Any refunds to participants will be made in accordance with City policy. <br />E. Any materials fee shall be established by mutual agreement of City and Provider and shall be <br />payable directly to Provider. <br />
