He has extensive experience <br />in geotechnical consulting, and materials testing and <br />special inspection services for public and private <br />schools, public infrastructure including bridges, roads, <br />storm drains, water and sewer systems, military <br />projects, and residential developments. Tom manages <br />these projects on strict budget constraints and careful <br />consideration for accurate invoicing. Tom's duties <br />include project management, review of construction <br />plans and specifications, attending jobsite meetings, <br />selection and supervision of project staff, overseeing <br />implementation of Quality Assurance programs, and <br />reviewing test results. <br />+ LA Metro 1-606 and SR-91 Interchange Project, <br />Santa Fe Springs, CA: Principal engineer during a <br />geotechnical investigation for the Project Approval <br />and Environmental Documentation (PA/ED) phase of <br />the proposed $120 million project. The improvements <br />will include additional freeway mainline capacity <br />leading to westbound SR-91 connector ramp to the <br />northbound and southbound 1-605, improvements to <br />freeway westbound entrance and exit ramps on SR- <br />91, and operational improvements for the northbound <br />1-605 at Alondra Boulevard off -ramp. Associated <br />improvements are also anticipated on the arterial <br />streets in the vicinity of the freeway ramp intersections. <br />+ 1-10 at Jefferson Street Interchange (Local Federal <br />Aid Project No. STPLN-5956(235) and State Federal <br />Aid Project No. ACNHPI-010-4(064)E), Indio, <br />CA: Project manager during testing and inspection/ <br />observation for construction of the $53 million <br />project which consisted of the a new interchange <br />with standard diamond ramps, loop entrance ramps, <br />and a new eight lane Jefferson Street overcrossing <br />over 1-10. Acceleration and decelerations lanes <br />were constructed on the westbound on -ramp and <br />eastbound off -ramp, and ramp metering was added <br />to the on -ramps. <br />+ City of National City On -Call Geotechnical, Soils, <br />and Materials Testing Services, National City, <br />CA: Principal engineer during testing and inspection <br />services widening of Plaza Boulevard and North <br />Avenue, upgrades at El Toyon and Kimball Parks, the <br />D Avenue Corridor project, A Avenue Green Street <br />project, Division Street traffic calming, and the 8th <br />Street Smart Growth project. <br />+ 1-16 and Cajalco Road Interchange Improvements, <br />Corona, CA: Project manager during testing and <br />inspection/observation for construction of the $45 <br />million project. Work consists of the widening of <br />Cajalco Road from a two-lane bridge to a six -lane <br />overcrossing bridge on a new alignment north of the <br />existing bridge. The bridgewill include a striped median, <br />outside shoulders, and a sidewalk on the southern <br />side. The existing northbound and southbound ramps <br />will be reconfigured and all existing ramps realigned. <br />The existing northbound on -ramp will be modified <br />to serve the westbound Cajalco Road traffic and a <br />northbound loop on -ramp will be constructed to serve <br />the eastbound Calajco Road traffic. <br />City of Santa Ana RFP No. 18-045, Geotechnical Engineering Services <br />SCST Proposal No. 18-0308 <br />
