B. Agreement Statements
<br />Ninyo & Moore has reviewed the provisions of the sample Agreement contained in Attachment 2
<br />of the RFP, and we concur with the contract terms outlined. Ninyo & Moore understands that
<br />services performed under this Agreement will be performed in compliance with such standards
<br />as may reasonably be expected from a professional consulting firm in the field.
<br />C. Firm Team and Experience
<br />Firm Profile
<br />Ninyo & Moore, a California corporation, was established in 1986 to provide high-quality con-
<br />sulting services in geotechnical engineering, construction inspection and materials testing,
<br />engineering geology, hydrogeology, hazardous waste remediation and environmental assess-
<br />ment. Ninyo & Moore has the financial resources and organizational capabilities to conduct and
<br />complete tasks as assigned under the proposed on-call contract. Ninyo & Moore is financially
<br />strong and has been rated as such by Dun and Bradstreet (Number 15-410-4079). We are
<br />committed to being responsive, thorough, technically sound, and active in the business com-
<br />munity. Ninyo & Moore serves its clients through offices in Irvine, Los Angeles, Fontana, San
<br />Diego (corporate headquarters), Oakland, Alameda, San Francisco, San Jose, and Sacramen-
<br />to, California; Phoenix, Prescott, and Tucson, Arizona; Las Vegas, Nevada; Denver and
<br />Broomfield, Colorado; Salt Lake City, Utah; and Houston, Texas.
<br />Ninyo & Moore has the equipment and trained personnel to perform the required geotechnical
<br />and materials laboratory testing services in-house, in one of our three fully -equipped, certified
<br />geotechnical and construction materials laboratory facilities in southern California. Our laborato-
<br />ries are supervised by registered engineers and are certified by the City of Los Angeles,
<br />Caltrans, California Division of the State Architect (DSA), American Association of State High-
<br />way and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratories
<br />(CCRL), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and other regulatory agencies. As part of our labor-
<br />atory accreditation, we have written quality control procedures for laboratory testing, which
<br />includes training and certification of both our laboratory personnel and testing equipment. La-
<br />boratory testing for task orders issued under the proposed on-call contract will be performed in
<br />our local Irvine (Orange County) laboratory.
<br />For over 30 years, Ninyo & Moore has become a specialist in providing on-call services for pub-
<br />lic agencies. We have developed a management approach that enables us to provide our
<br />clients with responsive, efficient, and cost effective services utilizing master agreement/on-call
<br />contracts with specific task order work assignment authorizations. The success of our approach
<br />is demonstrated through our long list of successful public agency on-call services contracts and
<br />the continued renewal of these contracts. Some of the agencies for which Ninyo & Moore has
<br />been awarded on-call service contracts include the cities of Santa Ana, Anaheim, Brea, Cerri-
<br />tos, Dana Point, Diamond Bar, Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, Irvine, La Habra, Lake
<br />Forest, Newport Beach, Rancho Santa Margarita, Yorba Linda, Corona, Riverside, Moreno Val-
<br />ley, Murrieta, Temecula, San Bernardino, Fontana, Rancho Cucamonga, and Rialto; Caltrans
<br />District 12, John Wayne Airport, Orange County Transportation Agency, the County of Los An-
<br />geles, Port of Long Beach, and many other agencies in southern California.
<br />We will utilize the project management approach we have developed over the years to provide
<br />the City of Santa Ana with responsive service by qualified and certified personnel that will be
<br />supported by in-house technical expertise and equipment resources.
