EXHIBIT A <br />9.16.4 Water Supply <br />Threshold: Would the Project have sufficient water supplies available to serve the Project from <br />existing entitlements and resources, or are new or expanded entitlements needed? <br />Finding: Less than significant impact. (DEIR, p. 4.13-7 through 4.13-8.) <br />Facts in Support of Finding: The City's Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) anticipates a supply <br />and demand increase of 8.2 percent (3,028 acre feet per year) relating to water. The Project would result <br />in an increase in demand for water supplies that is between just 2.7 and 4.2 percent of the UWMP's <br />anticipated increase. Accordingly, the City would have water supplies available to serve the Project from <br />existing entitlements. (DEIR, p. 4.13-7 through 4.13-8.) <br />For the reasons discussed above and the reasons discussed in the DEIR, impacts associated with this issue <br />would be less than significant, and no mitigation is required. (DEIR, p. 4.13-7 through 4.13-8.) <br />9.16.5 Wastewater Treatment Capacity <br />Threshold: Would the Project result in a determination by the wastewater treatment provider, <br />which serves or may serve the Project, that it has adequate capacity to serve the Project's projected demand <br />in addition to the provider's existing commitments? <br />Finding: Less than significant impact. (DEIR, p. 4.13-11.) <br />Facts in Support of Finding: Based on results of the sewer flow monitoring and the City's Design <br />Criteria wastewater generation rates, the Sewer Study identified that the existing sewer lines that serve the <br />Project site would be able to adequately handle the additional wastewater flows from the Project. <br />Additionally, the existing wastewater treatment facilities have adequate capacity to accommodate the <br />increase in wastewater flow from full occupancy of the Project. As a result, implementation of the Project <br />would not result in inadequate capacity of the wastewater treatment plant to serve the Project's demand <br />in addition to existing service commitments. (DEIR, p. 4.13-11.) <br />For the reasons discussed above and the reasons discussed in the DEIR, impacts associated with this issue <br />would be less than significant, and no mitigation is required. (DEIR, p. 4.13-11.) <br />9.16.6 Solid Waste Facilities <br />Threshold: Would the Project be served by a landfill with insufficient permitted capacity to <br />accommodate the Project's solid waste disposal needs? <br />Finding: Less than significant impact. (DEIR, p. 2-8; Initial Study, p. 65.) <br />Facts in Support of Finding: The existing landfills that serve the project region have sufficient capacity <br />to accommodate the Project's solid waste needs. (Initial Study, p. 65.)
