The City of Santa Ana has a Building Security Ordinance <br />that effects all new construction, but consideration <br />( should be given to the development of an internal security <br />force for the regional shopping center that you are pro- <br />posing. Such a security force would be available to respond <br />i rapidly to individual business and customer needs and their <br />mere presence would have a deterrent effect on crime. <br />The overall effects of this development on police services are <br />difficult to measure and are dependent on the final plan that <br />is selected.
