He stated that Centennial want to be long term owners who are willing to invest several <br />hundred million dollars to make MainPlace Mall a destination for the residents of Santa <br />Ana and the region. <br />Mr. Levin took questions from members of the public, including: <br />• What short and long-term steps can Centennial take to ensure the mall is successful in <br />the future? <br />• What other similar projects is Centennial working on? <br />Responses included: <br />• Centennial purchased the properties and development rights to ensure the vision for <br />MainPlace Mall can be executed. Mr. Levin also discussed the changing nature of <br />retail, as it relates to responses to online shopping. <br />• A discussion of similar projects Centennial is working on, including two properties in <br />Chicago. Mr. Levin stated that MainPlace is the biggest project and the pinnacle of <br />projects they are working on. <br />Public comments were taken in the form of written comments, video comments or recorded <br />comments by a court reporter. <br />Interpreters for both Spanish and Vietnamese were available at the sign -in table and at the <br />public comments stations. <br />75D-462 <br />
