General Commercial uses currently prohibit residential developments on the site <br />and require conditional use permits for hotels. <br />The Site Is bordered to the immediate south by a special development district for the Discovery <br />Science Center. To the east of the site are additional specific development districts for <br />commercial office space and mixed use. Additional urban mixed -use districts tie to the <br />immediate east of the Site within the City of Orange. Land use beyond the two bordering <br />highways are composed primarily of single residential units. <br />Freeway Access <br />The Site maintains close proximity to access points to two major freeways.
