The existing concrete wall along the project's eastern boundary and the wall along the northern property line of the multi -family development (The Enclave) south of Sunflower Avenue would provide 5 dB of noise reduction, which was accounted for in the modeling. The noise levels at the adjacent surrounding noise sensitive land uses during project grading are shown in Table 13. Therefore, construction -related noise impacts are considered less than significant. However, to be conservative and reduce construction noise levels at the nearest sensitive receptors as much as feasible, the following construction noise mitigation measures are recommended. Mitigation Measure No. 2 During all project site excavation and grading on -site, construction contractors shall equip all construction equipment, fixed or mobile, with properly operating and maintained mufflers, consistent with manufacturer standards. Mitigation Measure No. 3 The contractor shall place all stationary construction equipment so that emitted noise is directed away from the noise sensitive receptors nearest the project site.
