SUBRECIPIENT shall carry medical and accident insurance for those Participants not qualifying as "employees" for Worker's Compensation Coverage, pursuant to California labor Code Section 3350, ct seq, 4. Equipment Coverage. SUBRECIPLLNT shall purchase a policy or policies of insurance covering loss or damage to any and all Equipment provided to or purchased by SUBRECI PTENT in accordance with this Agreement. Youth Protection, To maintain a safe environment, funded youth providers that serve youth under the age of 18 will need to provide a Youth Protection Policy and proof of Sexual Abuse & Molestation insurance coverage of at least $2,000,000, Youth providers v"ill be held responsible for conducting a background clearance (live -scan) for staff that have dircxt interaction with youth Participants that are under the age of 18, 6. Proof of Insurance. Certificates and endorsements gust be submitted and approved by CITY prior to any work under this Agreement. SUBRECIPLEI\T understands that CITY will make no payments under this Agreement until the required certificates and endorsements have been approved by CITY. IX. CORPORATESTATUS All corporate SUBRECIPIENTs shall be in good standing, without suspension by the California Secretary of State, Franchise Tax Board or Internal Revenue Service.
