EXHIBIT 2 <br />piR.o7rc� <br />rms xn�' <br />Paid Work Experience policy <br />Effective July1, 2019 <br />Purpose: <br />To establish guidelines for the paid youth work experience of any grant program governed by <br />WIOA regulations and to provide youth with meaningful work experience in order to assure the <br />successful completion of your program. <br />Eligibility: <br />• An individual must be WIOA eligible and enroll with Project Kinship (PK). <br />• An individual must have legal right to work in the United States and be able to furnish <br />proof upon enrollment in the program <br />• As it is with all WIOA services, provision of services is not an entitlement. <br />Placements: <br />• All participants will start at a minimum of$12.00 per hour and will be provided with <br />Worker's Compensation benefits. <br />• All participants may work up to 29 hours per week. <br />■ All placements will be made based on the individual interest and service plans <br />developed with the Case Manager to support the youth in the career exploration and <br />achievement of their goals. Placements will be available on PK location and worksite <br />partner organizations. <br />Roles and and Responsibilities: <br />Case Manager is responsible for: <br />• Assessing and keeping record of youth's work experience needs and placements. <br />• Inform participant of the IRK policies and formal procedures.. <br />• in collaboration with the Job Developer and other staff, refer youth to placements. <br />• Providing counseling and guidance. <br />Monitoring worksite compliance of labor laws and compliance with job description <br />duties. <br />Participant is responsible for: <br />• Providing necessary documentation to asses eligibility and maintain legal right to work <br />through duration of the program involvement. <br />25A-166 <br />
