EXHIBIT 1 <br />OC CHILDREN'S <br />THERAPEUTIC .ARTS <br />2215 N Broadway - Santa Ana, CA 92706. 714,547.5468 •,Fox 714.564.9690 - www.occtoc.org <br />5011c13 Federal Tax ID# 33.0930891 <br />Supportive Services Policies and Procedures <br />WIOA Program 2019-2020 <br />Purpose: To establish guidelines for the issuance of supportive services to participants who are <br />identified in need of such services. Goal is to aid participants with their successful <br />completion of OCCTAC's WIOA program, <br />Procedures: <br />F.li giibility: <br />Supportive services are available to those identified as approved WIOA participants; <br />have limited resources to meet -basic needs; and have expressed the need of <br />additional support to OCCTAC's WIOA Program staff. <br />Supportive services will be made available to participants while•they are enrolled in <br />all phases of the WIOA program. These services are contingent upon approval by the <br />Program Coordinator and OCCTAC Director. <br />Provision of supportive service is not an entitlement. <br />Availability of Funds and Assessment ofNeed: <br />The fiscal advisor or the accounting clerk and the Executive Director will verify the <br />availability of funds and notify the Program Coordinator. Supportive services are <br />delivered contingent upon availability of funds, the treed of the participant and given <br />on a first come, first serve basis. <br />Initial assessment on need will be determined by the Case Manager and Hill be <br />reviewed regularly. Logs of services will be kept on a regular basis and service(s) <br />will also be case noted for documentation purposes. <br />Transportation Assistance Guidelines: <br />After identifying the need for transportation assistance and elimiriating other <br />resources, the case manager and the participant will develop a service plan (ISS) and <br />update progress in the case notes. <br />Transportation assistance is defined as the provision of a gas card; bus pass or <br />ACCESS coupon hook. <br />No replacement bus pass, gas card or ACCESS coupon book will be issued in the <br />event the participant loses his/her bus pass, gas card or ACCESS coupon book. <br />25A-57 <br />
