Exhibit A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />A. Provider shall provide reading and math classes by designated age groups at the City's El <br />Salvador Center. <br />l3, Provider shall teach such or similar classes (1) at the times below at facilities to be <br />designated by the City or (2) on a schedule agreed upon by the parties for each class <br />session or term, including the location, specific days and hours when classes will be held, <br />and holidays to be observed, in accordance with City's needs, <br />READING PROGRESS CLASSES <br />LOCATION: El Salvador Center, 1825 W. Civic Center Dr., Santa Ana, (714) 647-6558 <br />INSTRUCTOR: Lirmie Sohler <br />Classes will be taught in monthly sessions, held 2 days per week, I hour per da " <br />pursuant to the following schedule; 1.)M <br />3:00 P.M. - 4:00-P.M. <br />o Reading Progress 1st-2nd Grade Class: (5-8yrs)-i24M?-A1- 4QQ+1lM Tu/Tb <br />■ Students will work on curriculum specific to their needs, comprehension, <br />phonics, and writing will be the major components, <br />o Reading Progress 3rd-5th Grade Class: (9-12yrs) 4:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. Tu/'T'h <br />■ Students will concentrate on comprehension skills and high frequency <br />words, in addition to phonies and writing, <br />o heading Progress 6th-7th Grade Class: (I 1.13yrs) 2:00 P.M, - 3:00 P.M. W/F <br />■ This class will focus on building a student's strengths within their <br />individual challenges with comprehension, phonies, writing, and <br />vocabulary, <br />o heading Progress 8th-1 Ith Grade Class: (13-16yrs) 3:00 RM. - 4:00 P.M. W/F <br />■ These students will focus on Language Arts concepts which need <br />improving: writing, grammer, conventions, and comprehension. <br />MATH PROGRESS <br />LOCATION: El Salvador Center, 1825 W. Tu/Th <br />■ This class will focus on number sense and basic addition and subtraction <br />of facts. Students entering 3rd grade will be introduced to multiplication <br />facts, if they have mastered addition and subtraction facts. <br />
