Exhibit A <br />Scope of Services <br />The scope of services for this agreement shall include consulting services to assist the City with Disability <br />Compliance Management to support compliance with Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and <br />the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA). <br />1. FEHA/ADA Disability Interactive Process Coordination and Facilitation. When requested by City, <br />manage the Interactive Process to support the City to make sound reasonable accommodation <br />decisions related to work related injuries and personal accommodations that fall under FEHA/ADA. <br />Contact employees requesting or requiring accommodation, obtain needed medical information, or <br />develop an Essential Functions Position Analysis'", if requested by the City. Coordinate and then <br />facilitate the good faith interactive process meeting to support the City to make decisions on what <br />accommodations may be reasonable to implement, Provide detailed documentation as required. <br />2. Essential Functions Position Analysisl' (EFPA'"). When requested by City, perform Essential <br />Functions Position Analysis to provide an objective basis for hiring, evaluating, training, <br />accommodating and supervising persons with disabilities, as well as improving the efficiency. The <br />EFPA shall include: 1) core purpose for the position, 2) essential functions which are critical or <br />fundamental to the successful performance of the position, 3) work environment and conditions <br />where the essential functions are performed, 4) listing of skills and abilities an Individual must <br />possess to perform the essential functions, and 5) the mental and emotional demands required to <br />successfully perform the essential functions. <br />#393v1 <br />
