This is an increase of 769 individuals in Santa Ana since <br />the 2017 Point in Time Count. A challenge for Santa Ana is that many individuals experiencing <br />homelessness gravitate to specific cities, one of which is Santa Ana. A goal of the City is to work closely <br />with community and faith -based groups, other municipalities and the County to provide a coordinated <br />and regional effort to address homelessness throughout the County. In addition, several programs were <br />funded by HOME, CDBG and ESG to assist underserved individuals.
