• Insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, and rodenticides shall be of the best quality <br />obtainable, properly labeled with guaranteed analysis, and brought to the job site in the <br />manufacturer's original container. <br />• Tree stakes, tree ties and guy wires shall be of materials matching those existing in the <br />work site or as specified by the City of Santa Ana. <br />• Replacement trees, shrubs, ground cover, and other plants shall be of a size, condition <br />and variety specified by the City of Santa Ana. <br />• Replacement plant materials may be inspected by the City of Santa Ana prior to <br />planting. <br />• The City of Santa Ana shall determine replacement lawn sod. <br />s. RECYCLING/DISPOSAL <br />All organic waste (including leaves, grass clippings, brush, branches, and tree parts) resulting from <br />work performed under this contract shall be recycled through composting or processing for use as <br />mulch. Organic waste cannot be taken to the landfill. The names and addresses of the licensed <br />green -waste composting or processing companies, and haulers, along with the tonnages used and <br />receipts, shall be provided to the City of Santa Ana in a monthly written report and an annual written <br />report. <br />A hundred percent (100%) of all landscape debris will be disposed of through a landscape material <br />recycling center or reused in some manner. The Contractor shall dispose of all cuttings, weeds, <br />leaves, trash, and other debris from the operation as work progresses. The City shall not be <br />responsible for the disposal. Contractor shall pay all disposal fees and provide documentation <br />evidence of recycling to include location, tonnage, etc. to the City. At no time is the Contractor <br />permitted to use City durnpsters. <br />io. RECORDS <br />The Contractor shall, within fifteen (15) days of the effective date of an executed agreement, prepare <br />and submit a written annual maintenance calendar to the City of Santa Ana. This maintenance <br />calendar shall clearly indicate all of the landscape maintenance tasks required by this agreement <br />and the months of the year they are scheduled to be performed. If it is necessary to make periodic <br />revisions to this maintenance schedule, a modified calendar must be submitted to the City of Santa <br />Ana for approval prior to the date the changes are to take effect. <br />71. EMERGENCY SERVICES <br />The Contractor shall provide the City with names and telephone numbers of at least two qualified <br />persons who can be called by City representatives when emergency maintenance conditions occur <br />during hours when the Contractor's normal workforce is not present in the City of Santa Ana. These <br />Contractor representatives shall respond to said emergency within twenty four (24) hours from <br />receiving notification. <br />12.
