Settlement Agreement with Orange County Catholic Worker <br />October 1, 2019 <br />Page 3 <br />Staff recommends approval of the proposed settlement agreement with the Orange County <br />Catholic Worker for the above reasons. Going forward, the settlement clarifies the City's <br />obligations regarding its homeless population, as required by the law, while permitting the City to <br />enforce its anti -camping ordinances with greater confidence. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #5 — Community Health, Livability, <br />Engagement & Sustainability. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br />Exhibit: 1.
