Lopez, Kenia
From: Santa Ana Needs Equity SANE <
Sent: Monday, October 14, 2019 5:58 PM
To: eComment
Subject: Julio Medina Opposes Item 75A
Dear Mayor Pulido & Members of the City Council:
I am writing today to express my strong opposition to the proposed car wash being discussed tomorrow night in
Item 75A. Santa Ana deserves better than to be the Car Wash Capital of Orange County, and we don't need
another car wash. There was no adequate traffic study and no noise study, and to suggest that it should not be
subject to CEQA is just wrong. On top of that, car washes provide very little sales tax to our general fund and
are notorious for egregious employment and safety law violations. We deserve better.
Sincerely,
Julio Medina

............. ...... ..
stand with 5ANEand demand that the Santa Ana City Council restore
anity to our a onning process and reject the new car wash on 301 N. Tustin Avenue — 6acause we
eservo better than to be the Car Wash Capital of Orange Caontyl

N
