INTERNSHIP & VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS <br />The Santa Ana Family Justice Center offers volunteer opportunities and student internship programs for <br />individuals seeking hands-on experience with On -Site Community Partners. Please note that all <br />individuals who work at the SAFJC, volunteer and/or intern, are subject to a background check and must <br />sign a confidentiality statement. <br />Volunteer Program: <br />Individuals interested in volunteering at the Santa Ana Family Justice Center should contact the <br />Volunteer Administrator. <br />Legal Services: <br />Law students, paralegals and/or lawyers seeking to gain criminal work experience in the City Attorney's <br />Domestic Violence & Special Victims Unit, should contact the Head Deputy of the Orange County <br />District Attorney's Office Domestic Violence & Special Victims Unit or to gain civil work experience at <br />the Santa Ana Family Justice Center should contact the Director and/or a local Volunteer Lawyer <br />Program at Community Legal SoCal. <br />Victim Advocacy And Support: <br />Undergraduate and graduate students seeking to gain work experience in our advocacy program and/or <br />in a clinical setting should contact the SAFJC Director. <br />Interpreter Program: <br />Individuals seeking to provide interpreting services should contact the Bilingual Information Specialist. <br />Business Maiors: <br />Students seeking a business project for a final grade should contact the SAFJC Director <br />21 <br />
