GRIEVANCE BY CLIENT <br />SAFJC staff are part of a team of dedicated, qualified individuals whose goal is to support <br />victims of family violence and their children. Every, effort is made to provide services in a <br />manner that is high quality and non-discriminatory. <br />In the event of a grievance about SAFJC staff or services, the client will be asked to do the <br />following: <br />1. Discuss their concerns with the supervisor from the agency involved. <br />2. If the supervisor is not available, the client shall be directed to contact the SAFJC Director. <br />3. The SAFJC Director will maintain the client's contact information and specific information <br />about the incident or concern. <br />4. The SAFJC Director will contact the involved agency/supervisor and advise the client when <br />she/he can expect to hear back from that agency. <br />5. If the client is not satisfied that their concerns were adequately addressed by the involved <br />agency, they may then request a review by the Criminal Investigation Division Commander of <br />the Santa Ana Police Department. <br />27 <br />
