INSURANCE ON FILE <br />WORK MAY PROCEED <br />UNTIL INSURANCE EXPIRES N-2019-237-01 <br />//-id-.g0 <br />CLEKn Oi COUNCIL <br />6 FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH MARIA FIERRO <br />�/ ; TO ASSIST THE SANTA ANA POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />IN IMPLEMENTING THE SANTA ANA FAMILY JUSTICE CENTER <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT to the above -referenced agreement is entered into on February 20, <br />2020, by and between Maria Fierro ("Consultant"), and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and <br />municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of <br />California ("City"). <br />RECITALS <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement No. A-2019-237, dated October 22, 2019, by which <br />Consultant agreed to provide services to implement the steps, foster relationships and partnerships <br />with varied social and legal programs, recruit volunteers, establish its governing board and <br />committees, and establish the program as a federal and state recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit <br />organization to benefit the community. <br />B. The parties wish to amend the Agreement to revise the scope of services, and increase the overall <br />compensation of the Agreement. <br />The Parties therefore agree: <br />1. Section 1, Scope of Services, is revised as follows: <br />Services referenced in Sections 14 and 15 from the Scope of Work, Exhibit A, are not <br />required for completion by the Consultant. City considers all services from Exhibit A <br />completed by operation of this First Amendment; and <br />Consultant shall provide supervision and oversight of the Santa Ana Family Justice <br />Center as detailed in Exhibit A-1 to this First Amendment for a six week period. <br />Timing for this period shall be agreed upon in writing by the parties. <br />2. Section 2.a., Compensation, is amended to increase the compensation amount by $12,599.97. <br />The total amount to be expended during the term of this Agreement shall not exceed $49,950. <br />Except as modified by this First Amendment, all terms and conditions of the Agreement shall <br />remain in full force and effect. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this First Amendment to the Agreement <br />on the date and year first written above. <br />GOMEZ <br />the Council <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />- �e lr/� <br />KRISTINE RIDGE Ir' <br />City Manager <br />4280800 <br />
