Mr. Abbassi acted as staff for the City of Santa Ana and <br />Water Inspector <br />oversaw the $6M upgrades of the VValnut Pump Station. <br />AVAILABILITY <br />3rd Street Traffic Calming Project (Birch Street to Spurgeon Street) <br />40% <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA I SANTA ANA, CA <br />Construction Manager. Mr. Abbassi acted as staff for the City of Santa Ana and <br />oversaw the traffic -calming street improvement in the Santa Ana downtown <br />area. The project included AC pavement, PCC sidewalk, PCC curb ramp, <br />PCC curb and gutters, AC DIKE traffic circle, brick paver band, adjusting <br />manhole, water valve, and pull box frame/cover to grade, constructing new <br />median with landscaping, signing and striping, furnishing and installing bike <br />racks, furnishing and installing bench, and installing tree grates and wayfinding <br />markers in downtown sidewalks. <br />Santa Ana Stadium Structural Concrete Repair <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA I SANTA ANA, CA <br />Construction Manager. Mr. Abbassi acted as staff for the City of Santa Ana and <br />oversaw the $1.5M repair of the Santa Ana Stadium. The structural concrete <br />retrofit included the design and installation of temporary support, replacement <br />of the parapet wall and degraded beams with 4,000 PSI concrete, sandblast <br />rebar and applying rust inhibitor, corrosion -related spall repairs, cracks epoxy <br />injection, U-shaped galvanized plate at post, and joint seal with backer rod. <br />Complete interior remodeling of the media box included drywall, epoxy floor, <br />fixtures, door and locks. <br />Former YMCA Building Materials Abatement & Environmental Remediation <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA I SANTA ANA, CA <br />Construction Manager. Mr. Abbassi acted as staff for the City of Santa Ana <br />and oversaw the materials abatement and environmental remediation of the <br />YMCA building. It included the abatement of asbestos -containing materials <br />(ACMs), asbestos -containing construction materials (ACCMs), and assumed <br />ACMs that may be disturbed in association with upcoming renovation or <br />demolition activities for structures associated with the Young Men's Christian <br />V 5 <br />Association (YMCA) Building Renovation Project. Four structures are planned <br />for renovation or demolition, including main building, southwest building, <br />concrete block building, and the handball courts per South Coast Air Quality <br />Management District (SCAQMD) Procedure 5 (PS) Plan. <br />
