Mr. Armando Fernandez <br />HZ Proposal No. P309095.07 <br />February 19, 2019 <br />Page 4 <br />Plans will be submitted as follows: <br />• 2 - Hard Copies Design Plans Only for 30% Progress Submittal <br />(HZ will continue with design during City review) <br />• 2 - Hard Copies Design Plans Only for 60% Progress Submittal <br />(HZ will continue with design during City review) <br />• 2 — Hard Copies of PS&E for 90% Submittal <br />(Design is on hold during review) <br />• 1- Hard Copy of PS&E for Final Submittal <br />G. Estimates: Huitt-Zollars will provide water improvements relevant quantities. Probable <br />cost would be estimated using best engineering practices including bid item list. <br />H. Specifications: The City of Santa Ana will provide sample of special provisions for editing. <br />1. Construction Administration: Project Manager and staff will remain available during the <br />bidding phase and construction phase to respond to RFFs and review contractor submittals. <br />After construction, contractor redlines will be provided to develop record drawings. <br />Optional Services <br />J. Environmental Support: Installation of new pipeline with removal of existing pipeline as <br />part of maintenance or repair, would qualify as a statutory exemption if less than one mile in <br />length, unless there are unusual circumstances (i.e., "a reasonable possibility of significant <br />environmental effects"), in which case an MND may be required. We are providing a <br />budget for each. Our environmental consultant will assist the City to determine if an MND <br />is necessary.
