REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL w„ „ <br />C) <br />On -Call Water Resources Engineering Services. <br />(RFP W0. 79-700) <br />schedules through our deep bench of resources. A listing of our on -call contracts is included on the <br />previous page. <br />Michael Baker continuously supports our local water agencies by providing pipeline alternative alignment <br />and facility siting studies, as well as Water / Recycled Water / Sewer System planning and feasibility <br />studies, hydraulic modeling services and system wide condition assessments. We are currently under a <br />specific contract with Mesa Water District for maintaining and utilizing their hydraulic model for various <br />studies. We also routinely provide design for new and rehabilitation or replacement of existing water <br />facilities, infrastructure, and distribution pipelines. <br />Michael Baker has delivered services for pipeline projects that include steel pipe, ductile iron pipe, high - <br />density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe, and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe, ranging in size from 8- to 114-inches <br />in diameter. Our engineers are skilled in the traditional aspects of pipeline design such as alternative <br />alignment analysis, materials selection, hydraulic and transient analysis, hydraulic modeling, and cost <br />estimates, as well as state-of-the-art design and construction methods. Trenchless technology is a <br />specialty of our pipeline services group and our engineers are experienced in trenchless design and the <br />latest construction techniques available in the industry. In addition, Michael Baker has in-house expertise in electrical engineering, structural <br />engineering, environmental analysis, survey, permitting, and construction management to assist in project <br />delivery.
