DAVID VOLZ RESUME <br />Director of Design / Senior Landscape Architect <br />David Volz has over 30 years of <br />experience in the design of successful <br />public landscapes, streetscapes and <br />parks. He has managed public design <br />projects including the master planning, <br />design, and construction of municipal <br />projects for more than 100 public <br />agencies in California. Mr. Volz has a broad base of experience <br />focused in the development process from inception through <br />master plan development, construction document preparation, <br />contract administration, and on -site inspection. His extensive <br />knowledge of landscaping materials and vegetation is often <br />called for at commission meetings and in council reports for <br />agencies he has served. He has comprehensive experience in <br />storm water treatments, habitat restoration, walking trails and <br />water conservation. He has an excellent reputation for <br />facilitating community outreach programs for park design <br />through the public input process. The public workshop process <br />for park design is a concept that he always encourages. The <br />opportunity to get first hand insights from users, neighbors, and <br />the public in general is always beneficial in the design of public <br />projects. Public landscape, streetscape and park project <br />experience is Mr. Volz's design focus. The <br />design team coordinated with Caltrans and city <br />departments for the median landscape <br />improvements, creating a bold statement.
