Highway, impacts to residences, environmental <br />concerns, hydraulic conditions, pipe material and <br />size, and project costs. <br />After the preliminary design report was <br />approved, the final design included the <br />installation of 2,300 linear feet of 18-inch PVC <br />pressure pipe force main along the Pacific Coast <br />Highway and 900 linear feet of 12-inch PVC <br />gravity pipe and manholing within a private <br />residential community. Stantec also provided bid <br />support services and is currently providing <br />engineering support during construction. <br />Anita Street Storm Drain Improvement" <br />Laguna Beach, California <br />Year completed: 2017 <br />Client name: City of Laguna Beach <br />Contact: Tom Sandefur, (949) 497-0792 <br />Stantec provided engineering consulting services <br />for the construction of approximately 2,500 linear <br />feet of storm drain pipe along Anita and Seaview <br />Streets and approximately 300 linear feet of <br />storm drain pipe along Catalina Street. The work <br />also included the installation and/or replacement <br />catch basins and connecting storm drain laterals <br />at various locations along the project alignment. <br />The project alignment affected numerous <br />residents and local businesses. Access impacts <br />were mitigated through traffic control and <br />specification requirements. <br />Design of Sanitary Sewer Beach Interceptor <br />Trenchless Technology Improvements /I <br />Laguna Beach California <br />Year completed: 2017 <br />Client name: South Coast Water District <br />Contact: Rick Shintaku, (949) 499-4555 <br />Stantec provided design services and <br />engineering support during construction for the <br />trenchless technology improvements of <br />approximately 3,070 feet from manhole S1193 to <br />manhole S1201. This segment of the beach <br />interceptor consists of two parallel pipes with <br />15-inch and 8-inch diameters.
