EXHIBIT A <br />COMMUNITY BENEFIT AND SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES PLAN <br />We at 10 Spot, Inc. are dedicated to the communities that we serve. We are invested in hiring locally, <br />supporting community partners, and using eco-friendly business practices. In Santa Ana, we will <br />focus on hiring disadvantaged and at -risk local citizens, especially those with gaps in their resumes <br />and/or who are in need of training. 10 Spot, Inc. is committed to civic engagement, collaboration <br />with the City of Santa Ana on neighborhood improvement efforts, financial assistance to outreach <br />programs, and spearheading green initiatives. <br />LOCAL HIRING PLAN & LABOR <br />At 10 Spot, Inc., we do not view our employees as simple workers, but as a part of our family. We are <br />invested in their long-term success, which is why we offer competitive wages and benefits, as well as <br />supporting ongoing employee education. We want our staff to take what they learn from working <br />with us to launch their careers, whether with us or an entirely different field. <br />Hiring locally does not only benefit the community, but the employer as well. Our Compliance <br />Manager Aaron Friesen has hired 50% of his employees at Orange County Collision —a business he <br />has been operating for 20 years —from Santa Ana, with an additional 40% of employees living just <br />over the border in neighboring cities. We are committed to hiring locally at our Distribution facility, <br />with a goal of 100% of our employees residing in Santa Ana. We will create 15-20 new employment <br />opportunities for various levels of experience at 2702 S Shannon St, including at least 8-11 entry <br />level positions that will require no prior experience in the cannabis industry. <br />Wages and Benefits <br />We at 10 Spot, Inc. understand that everyone of our employees is entitled to a living wage. About 100 <br />years ago, Henry Ford understood that paying his employees enough to buy the Model Ts they were <br />building - something unheard of at the time - would create a stable workforce that both increased his <br />profits and enhanced the quality of life of the community. Here in the 21st Century we also <br />understand that lesson, as well as benefits that keep people healthy and financially solvent by <br />ensuring every full-time employee has robust health insurance coverage. We will offer entry-level <br />employees an annual salary of 50% above the minimum wage, in addition to benefits like paid time <br />off and tuition assistance. We feel that entry level positions that provide personal and financial <br />stability are badly needed during a time when millions of people are filing for unemployment. The <br />cannabis industry is proving to be recession -proof, so we at 10 Spot, Inc. will provide much needed <br />wages and benefits to the community of Santa Ana. <br />Training and Continuing Education <br />10 Spot, Inc. holds a vested interest in offering employee education opportunities. We invest heavily <br />in our staff, and our management is dedicated to offering mentorship and job -related training for <br />the cannabis industry as well as in general business practices.
