SECTION 106 NATIVE AMERICAN CONSULTATION RECORD <br />Fairview Street Widening and Bridge Replacement Project, Santa Ana, Orange County, California <br />Groups/Individuals Contacted <br />Date of Project <br />Date of Tribal Response to Letter <br />Date and Results of Follow-up <br />Notification Letter <br />Telephone Calls and/or Emails <br />Gabrieleno Band of Mission Indians — Kizh Nation <br />03/26/2018 <br />03/29/2018: Mr. Salas sent a letter via <br />03/29/2018: An email response was sent to Mr. Salas <br />Andrew Salas, Chairperson <br />email requesting consultation. <br />requesting additional and more specific information. <br />Gabrieleno <br />Mr. Salas responded with an invitation to meet at the <br />Tribal office. A response was sent to Mr. Salas <br />informing him that the location of the Tribal office was <br />too far and instead offered a teleconference option. <br />03/30/2018: Mr. Salas sent another email to request <br />contact from the lead agency and copied the NAHC on <br />the message. This message and request was <br />forwarded to Caltrans. <br />04/04/2018: Caltrans responded to Mr. Salas (and <br />copied the NAHC) to reach out and request any <br />information about knowledge of specific resources in <br />the project area. Caltrans also reiterated that a <br />teleconference is an option and offered to schedule a <br />time for the teleconference if the group was <br />interested. <br />04/12/2018: Caltrans sent another follow-up email to <br />Mr. Salas to offer a teleconference option to discuss <br />the project and address any questions or concerns <br />that the group may have. <br />As of 05/15/2018, no response was received. <br />Gabrieleno/Tongva San Gabriel Band of Mission <br />03/26/2018 <br />No response received. <br />04/10/2018: A follow-up email was sent to Mr. <br />Indians <br />Morales. <br />Anthony Morales, Chairperson <br />Gabrieleno <br />No response was received. <br />Gabrielino/Tongva Nation <br />03/26/2018 <br />No response received. <br />04/10/2018: A follow-up email was sent to Ms. Goad. <br />Sandonne Goad, Chairperson <br />Gabrielino <br />No response was received. <br />(5/15/2018) Page 2 of 5 <br />
