Training <br />Depending on the outcome of their assessment they will be served through a variety of programs <br />and service such as On -the -Job Training (OJT) or direct placement. Of those enrolled in training <br />75% will complete occupational skills training, 65% will enter employment, and 60 % retention <br />in employment after six months. As income is instrumental in reducing recidivism and <br />homelessness, an emphasis will be placed in OJT. A pool of employers who employ justice <br />involved individuals have been identified and staff will ensure WEX/OJTs are matched to work - <br />ready participants. Recognizing that participants must re-enter the labor market fully armed with <br />skills and competencies that make them true assets to employers. If classroom skills training, <br />pre/apprenticeship and basic skills education are necessary, Re-entry Navigators will help them <br />enroll in short term training courses.
