Proposed New Miscellaneous Fees FY 2020-21 <br />Planning and Building ency <br />1. EntitlementAoplication Extension <br />Existing Fee: None <br />Proposed Fee: $2,508.32 <br />SAMC Sec. 41-647 provides for entitlement extensions up to three years from the original two- <br />year expiration time -frames. Extension requests must be considered by the City Council, which <br />requires preparation of an RFCA and staff time. This fee reflects staff time spent preparing the <br />RFCA for City Council consideration. <br />2. Historic ReOster Removal/Demolition <br />Existing Fee: None <br />Proposed Fee: $5,739.81 <br />SAMC Sec. 3-7 provides for requests to demolish properties on the historic register. These <br />requests must be considered by the Historic Resources Commission, which requires <br />preparation of a staff report and staff time. This fee reflects staff time spent preparing the <br />RFCA for City Council consideration. <br />Public Works Agency <br />3. There is currently no fee for this procedure within the <br />Water Resources Division. This differs from the "Install New Water Service Meter" fee in <br />that it is designed to fund the entirety of the water delivery infrastructure, notjust the water <br />meter hardware. The fees shown in the table below are calculated based on the demand <br />the customer will place on the system, which is measured by size of the customer's water <br />meter. <br />75Ara2-81 <br />
