b) $1 Buyout Lease <br />i) A Purchasing Entity shall have the option to enter into an Initial Lease Term of 12, 18, 24, <br />36, 48 or 60 months for Group A, Group B, Group C, Group D, and Group F, at the <br />discretion of the Participating State or Entity. In addition, a Participating State or Entity <br />may elect to enter into 72 and 84 month terms for Group C only. <br />ii) Upon the expiration of the Initial Lease Term, the Contractor shall provide title to the <br />Equipment to the Purchasing Entity, or as otherwise determined in a Participating <br />Addendum, and the Purchasing Entity shall not be subject to any additional expense in <br />order to assume possession of the Equipment. <br />c) Straight Lease <br />i) A Purchasing Entity shall have the option to enter into an Initial Lease Term of 12, 18, 24, <br />36, 48 or 60 months for Group A, Group B, Group C, Group D, and Group F, at the <br />discretion of the Participating State or Entity. In addition, a Participating State or Entity <br />may elect to enter into 72 and 84 month terms for Group C only. <br />ii) Upon the expiration of the Initial Lease Term, a Purchasing Entity may do one of the <br />following: <br />1) Renew the lease on a month to month basis, or a 12-month basis, at the discretion of <br />the Participating State or Entity; or <br />2) Return the Equipment to the Contractor, or have the Contractor pick the Equipment <br />up. <br />d) Cancellable Rental <br />i) A Purchasing Entity shall have the option to enter into an Initial Rental Term of 12, 18, <br />24, 36, 48, or 60 months, at the discretion of the Participating State or Entity. In addition, <br />a Participating State or Entity may elect to enter into 72 and 84 month terms for Group C <br />only. <br />ii) A Purchasing Entity shall have the option to cancel the rental at any time throughout the <br />tens of the agreement, by providing the Contractor with a thirty (30) day prior written <br />notice. <br />iii) Upon the expiration of the Initial Lease Term, a Purchasing Entity may do one of the <br />following: <br />1) Renew the lease on a month to month basis, or a 12-month basis, at the discretion of <br />the Participating State or Entity; or <br />2) Return the Equipment to the Contractor, or have the Contractor pick the Equipment <br />up. <br />e) Short -Term Lease <br />i) A Purchasing Entity shall have the option to enter into a maximum lease term of 12 <br />months. <br />ii) Upon the expiration of the lease term, the Purchasing Entity shall return the Equipment to <br />the Contractor, or have the Contractor pick the Equipment up. <br />4.5.8. Leasing and Rental Terms and Conditions <br />a) Possession and Return of Lease and Rental Equipment <br />i) Purchasing Entity is responsible for risk of loss to the Products while the Products are in <br />Purchasing Entity's possession.
