6. The City has an affirmative action program. The purpose of the affirmative action program is <br />to encourage certified minority business enterprises and women business enterprises. All <br />submitting firms must have established affirmative action programs approvable by the City. <br />During the REP stage, all firms will need to complete a "Certification of Non -Discrimination <br />by Contractors" for each firm on their team. <br />The undersigned bidder agrees to furnish all labor, tools, material and supplies, and to sustain all <br />expense incurred in doing the work for the items included herein and in accordance with the <br />contract documents and engineering plans provided by the City. <br />This schedule is used for comparison purposes only.
