Weber <br />With 20 years of progressive environmental consulting experience, <br />Michael's expertise involves land uses subject to discretionary <br />agency approvals and public environmental review. Michael provides <br />Environmental Documentation/ <br />environmental services and leads multi -disciplinary teams through all <br />Permitting Principal Scientist <br />life cycle phases of projects. He guides projects through scoping, technical <br />study, public environmental review, permitting, implementation, and <br />decommissioning. <br />Michelson Sewer Lift Station Replacement Project, Irvine, CA, <br />Environmental Task Manager <br />Michael prepared a CEQA Notice of Exemption for the Lead Agency <br />on this project. It involved replacing and reconstructing an existing <br />sewer lift station in the City of Irvine to avoid conflict with proposed <br />development in the area. <br />Newport Bay Water Wheel/Trash Removal Project, Newport <br />Beach, CA, Project Manager <br />Michael managed preparation of an IS/MND to meet California <br />Environmental Quality Act requirements for this innovative project that <br />involves construction and operation of a trash removal system in the <br />California Coastal Zone of San Diego Creek/Upper Newport Bay. The <br />project would substantially reduce the volume of trash flowing into <br />Newport Bay and adjacent sensitive habitats/shoreline and benefit <br />biological resources, water quality, and aesthetics. The environmental <br />impact analysis was supported through preparation of a Jurisdictional <br />Wetlands/Waters Delineation Report, Biological Resources Technical <br />Report and Aquatic Resources Survey Report.
