N inyo and Moore <br />Michael is a principal geologist with Ninyo & Moore and has <br />extensive experience in providing engineering geology consultation <br />Michael Putt • <br />in Southern California. Michael has extensive experience on a <br />variety of project types, including highways, bridges, bore and <br />PG, CEG <br />jack tunneled undercrossings, hillside and flat -land mass grading <br />Geotechnical <br />projects for residential, commercial, and industrial developments, <br />pipelines, and forensic investigations. Michael performs project <br />Education <br />administration and management, prepares and reviews geologic <br />BS, Geology <br />and geotechnical reports and provides third party review services <br />for geotechnical reports. He conducts geologic and geotechnical <br />Registrations/Certifications <br />field evaluations, including detailed logging of large- and small- <br />• Professional Geologist #7581, CA <br />diameter borings and trenches, and geologic evaluation/mapping. <br />• Certified Engineering Geologist # 2341, CA <br />Projects have included fault hazard evaluations, landslide studies, <br />slope stability analysis, seismic refraction studies, geologic <br />reconnaissance studies, forensic evaluations, and construction and <br />inspection services. <br />City of Santa Ana, Warner Avenue Storm Drain (Principal <br />Geologist) <br />Michael provided geotechnical services for the Warner Avenue <br />Storm Drain project located in Santa Ana, California. The project <br />consisted of a 14-foot-wide by 6-foot-deep reinforced concrete <br />box, and 60-inch-diameter reinforced concrete pipes that <br />connected to existing storm drain pipes in the project area. The <br />primary geotechnical considerations for the project included the <br />stability of temporary excavations and need for shoring, relatively <br />shallow groundwater and construction dewatering, and potential <br />uplift forces on the storm drains due to the shallow groundwater. <br />Services included review of background materials, subsurface <br />exploration consisting of three exploratory borings, laboratory <br />testing to evaluate soil characteristics, geologic and engineering <br />analyses, and preparation of a written report representing findings <br />and geotechnical recommendations. <br />Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering, Stormwater Capture <br />Parks Program, Los Angeles, CA(Principal Geologist) <br />Michael provided geotechnical consulting services for the Los <br />Angeles Bureau of Engineering Stormwater Capture Parks <br />Program Project located in Los Angeles County, California. <br />The program captures up to 2,912 acre-feet of stormwater <br />and urban runoff per year that drain from 5,868 acres within a <br />ads 25F-260 <br />Stamec •Proposal for On Call Stormwater Project Design Services <br />
