PROPOSALFOR <br />On -Call Stormwater Project Design Services <br />RFP NO.: 20-102 <br />STAFFING WITH LOCAL <br />KNOWLEDGE AND DEPTH OF <br />TECHNICAL EXPERTISE <br />Members of our project team are locally based <br />and are deeply invested in projects that will <br />improve the local water quality and provide <br />beneficial public space. <br />Having an adequate amount and necessary <br />type of resources are critical to the success of a <br />project. Inadequate resources can result in project <br />delays and/or poor execution of required tasks. <br />Tetra Tech is ready to provide support to the City <br />with our experience and knowledge to quickly <br />resolve technical issues and challenges. The <br />Tetra Tech team can provide the specialized <br />expertise and the depth of resources necessary <br />to meet or exceed the City's variable project <br />requirements including providing the following <br />services: <br />• Hydraulic computer modeling <br />• Stormwatersampling/monitoring/data analysis <br />• Flow monitoring studies <br />• Mapping services <br />• Hydrologic calculations <br />• Preparation/review of Water Quality Management <br />Plans (WQMP) <br />• Conceptual design/drawings <br />• Percolation testing/geotechnical reporting <br />• Coordination with outside agencies <br />• Project presentations <br />• Researching existing field conditions and utilities <br />• Cost benefit analyses <br />• Technical feasibility and project impact analyses <br />• Drafting project planning documents <br />• Grant funding support <br />• Environmental documentation <br />• Permitting support <br />• Land surveying <br />• Preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates <br />(PS&E) involving civil, structural, architectural, <br />geotechnical, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation <br />& controls, and landscape architecture & irrigation <br />design disciplines <br />Assistance with local, State, and Federal Grant <br />applications <br />Bid, Construction, and Post -Construction Support <br />PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br />PROCEDURES <br />Successful on -call service contracts require a <br />diverse and highly talented team, made up of <br />specific engineering and design disciplines, as <br />well as responsible project management. No <br />matter the task that is being requested, each <br />project requires: <br />Delivering a project within budget and on schedule <br />Coordinating with appropriate agency representatives <br />Implementing a QualityAssurance/Quality Control <br />Plan to increase the excellence of the end product <br />Teamwork development and meeting participation <br />City of Santa Ana 2 1 TETRA TECH <br />
