WEST, CPSWQ, QSD/QSP LSA <br />ASSOCIATE ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNER/WATER QUALITY SPECIALIST <br />PROFESSIONAL <br />The SWPPP Amendment was submitted in December 2017 in order to extend <br />EXPERIENCE, CONT. <br />the construction period and reduce the size of the construction site. <br />Graduate Student Researcher, <br />Department of Civil and <br />20 Old Ranch Road <br />Environmental Engineering, <br />City of Laguna Niguel, California <br />University of California, Berkeley, <br />Ms. West served as Project Manager for preparation of an Initial <br />September 2002—March 2003. <br />Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) Addendum and construction <br />Post -Graduate Researcher 11, <br />monitoring for hillside grading and terracing at 20 Old Ranch Road in the City of <br />Department of vegetable Crops, <br />Laguna Niguel. Subsequent to approval of the IS/MND and completion of <br />USDA-ARS Aquatic Weed <br />construction of the single-family residence, it became necessary to terrace a <br />Laboratory, University of <br />hillside on the Project site to reduce ongoing scour and erosion. Ms. West <br />California, Davis, June 2000- <br />prepared the IS/MND Addendum for the additional grading, which was <br />August 2002. <br />approved by the Planning Commission in February 2018. <br />Post -Graduate Researcher II, <br />Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, <br />Irvine Ranch Water District, San Joaquin Reservoir Filtration Facility <br />and Conservation Biology, <br />Newport Beach, California <br />University of California, Davis, <br />June 1998—June 2000. <br />Ms. West was part of the project management team for preparation of the <br />IS/MND for this project. The Irvine Ranch Water District (IRWD) proposes to <br />PROFESSIONAL <br />construct a filtration facility at the existing San Joaquin Reservoir in Newport <br />AFFILIATIONS <br />Beach. The IS/MND was circulated for public review in June 2020. <br />Membership Committee Chair, <br />Channel Counties Chapter, <br />Eastwood Recycled Water Pump Station IS/MIND <br />Association of Environmental <br />Irvine, California <br />Professionals, 2019-2021 <br />IRWD proposed to construct the Zone A to B and Zone A to C Booster Pump <br />Stations (Multi -Zone Pump Station) Project at the intersection of Jeffrey Road <br />Coordinator, California ooConference Moderator <br />C <br />and Irvine Boulevard in the City of Irvine. Ms. West assisted in preparation of <br />Stormwater Quality Association, <br />the IS/MND for the project, including the hydrology and water quality section. <br />2014-2020 <br />Metro, Baseline Construction Compliance Evaluation <br />President, Toastmasters Club <br />Los Angeles, California <br />5204,2019-2021 <br />Ms. West conducted the baseline construction compliance evaluation and <br />Vice President of Membership, <br />inspection for compliance with storm water regulations for three Metro <br />Toastmasters club 5204, 2018- <br />projects. The evaluation included a comparison of Metro's baseline <br />2019 <br />construction specifications with applicable federal/State/local requirements. A <br />site visit of the construction sites was conducted to verify compliance with the <br />applicable regulatory requirements. <br />County of Los Angeles Department of Beaches and Harbors, Storm Water <br />Campaign Technical Support <br />Los Angeles County, California <br />Ms. West provided storm water technical expertise to the County of Los <br />Angeles Department of Beaches and Harbors in support of its Can the Trash! <br />storm water campaign. The community outreach campaign included a "Clean <br />and Blue" animated video and poster design contest targeting elementary <br />school children, encouraging them to participate in ocean cleanup including <br />beaches and upstream sources. The winning posters were widely reproduced <br />and displayed on trash barrels at Los Angeles County beaches and recreation <br />facilities as eye-catching friendly reminders to "Can the Trash." The campaign <br />was the recipient of the California Stormwater Quality Association's 2019 <br />Outstanding News, Information Outreach, and Media Project award. <br />
