Contractor will comply with Section 3 of the I-Tousing and Urban Development <br />(HUD) Act of 1968 that helps foster local economic development, neighborhood economic <br />improvement, and individual self-sufficiency. The Section 3 program requires that recipients of <br />certain HUD financial assistance, to the greatest extent feasible, provide job training, employment, <br />and contracting opportunities for low- or very -low income residents in connection with projects <br />and activities in their neighborhoods. Contractor will certify the Section 3 Clause Attachment 3. <br />Y. Contractor will adhere to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions Attachment 4, <br />Z. Contractor agrees to provide a drug -free workplace and to execute a certification <br />as set forth in Attachment 5. <br />as, Pursuant to the conflict of interest requirements set forth in 24 CFR 570.611 and 2 <br />CFR 200.112, Contractor certifies that no member, officer, employee, agent or assignee of CITY <br />:having direct or indirect control o f any CDBG monies granted to the CITY, inclusive of the subject <br />CDBG FUNDS, shall serve as an officer of Contractor. Further, any conflict or potential conflict <br />of interest of any officer of Contractor shall be fully disclosed in writing prior to the execution of <br />this Agreement and said writing shall be attached and deemed fully incorporated as a part hereof: <br />Notice shall be sent by Contractor to CITY regarding any changes or modifications to its board of <br />directors and list of officers. <br />
