FOG Control Program Manual <br />5.0 MULTI -FAMILY HOUSING, AND SINGLE FAMILY HOME FOG <br />CONTROLPROGRAM <br />The multi -family housing, and single family home FOG Control Program will utilize <br />education as the primary method for controlling the discharge of the FOG to the sewer <br />system. Educational information concerning FOG will be provided periodically in the <br />City's Newsletter, and FOG education brochures will be mailed with utility bills on an <br />annual basis to educate City customers. Additionally, FOG education videos will be <br />televised periodically during the City's Community Access television broadcast. <br />For areas identified as potential upstream sources of FOG in the sewer system, more <br />frequent mailing of FOG brochures will be conducted. Additionally, FOG brochures and <br />other educational material will be provided to multi -family housing for posting in <br />common areas. Refer to Appendix T for FOG educational material. <br />6.0 INDUSTRIAL FOG PROGRAM <br />Orange County Sanitation District's source control program is utilized to regulate the <br />wastewater discharged from Industrial users into the City's sewer collection system. The <br />City will coordinate with OCSD for regulation and enforcement for those industrial <br />discharges that are identified as significant FOG discharges. <br />19F-203 22 <br />
