Jasmine was the Project Renovation Library • 2018 LA Conservancy Interior Designer for the Construction Administration Phase of the iconic, 90,000- Preservation Awards SF existing Brutalist concrete building designed by Welton Beckett Associates and opened in 1973. The renovation was carefully designed to improve function and flexibility of the space while revising how one enters the building including moving the entrance from the east to a set of dual entries on the north and South. The library was seismically upgraded and modernized. Gruen Associates' design worked to acknowledge changes while preserving the library's eligibility for historic designation on local and state lists.
