DocuSign Envelope ID: 1BA90275-CO48-437F-ACEC-13F73597F313 <br />� �ll <br />oil,�� <br />GOVERNOR GEORGE DEUKMEJIAN COURTHOUSE <br />Long Beach, California <br />Winning Multiple Awards for a 3P <br />Project <br />Syska's work on the Long Beach Courthouse, <br />a public -private partnership, Included <br />designing, constructing, financing, operating, <br />commissioning, and maintaining the building, as <br />well as renovating the existing parking structure. <br />The new courthouse, which provides space and <br />services forjudicial proceedings in Los Angeles <br />County's Superior Court, replaces a 50-year-old <br />existing structure. <br />The design Includes 31 courtrooms with <br />accompanying holding cells, administrative <br />office space, and secure parking. It also Includes <br />office space used by the County of Los Angeles <br />for administrative purposes and additional office <br />space for commercial and retail tenants. <br />We developed a cabling Infrastructure <br />system for technology distribution to support <br />communications for staff, employees, and <br />visitors. The technology distribution centered <br />on passive (structured cabling) and active <br />equipment (network equipment). <br />The Infrastructure provided an optimal level of <br />performance, reducing the operating costs In <br />support of multiple Integrated and converged <br />systems for voice, data, wireless, AV, DIMS, and <br />security. <br />Our team used a number of Innovative solutions <br />to overcome the project's technological <br />challenges through a versatile cabling <br />Infrastructure that can accommodate future <br />converged networks.
