City of Santa Ana <br />Grant Agreement No. 19-15 <br />Page 3 <br />specifications and engineering work (tasks, budget and timeline) and approval of any contractors <br />that the grantee will retain to perform the engineering work. <br />TERM OF AGREEMENT <br />This agreement shall take effect when signed by both parties and received in the offices of the <br />Conservancy together with the resolution described in the "CONDITIONS PRECEDENT TO <br />CONSTRUCTION AND DISBURSEMENT" section of this agreement. An authorized <br />representative of the grantee shall sign the first page of the originals of this agreement in ink or <br />via electronic signature process specified by the Conservancy. <br />This agreement shall run from its effective date through February 27, 2043 ("the termination <br />date") unless otherwise terminated or amended as provided in this agreement. However, all <br />work shall be completed by February 27, 2023 ("the completion date"). <br />The grantee shall deliver a final Request for Disbursement to the Conservancy no later than <br />March 31, 2023. <br />AUTHORIZATION <br />The signature of the Executive Officer of the Conservancy on this agreement certifies that at its <br />June 18, 2020 meeting, the Conservancy adopted the resolution included in the staff <br />recommendation attached as Exhibit 2. This agreement is executed under that authorization. <br />
