City of Santa Ana Library Services <br />Name of Funded Program Main Library Ceiling Tiles Replacement Project <br />Annual Accomplishment Goal <br />Program and Funding Description <br />Project Location : The Santa Ana Public Library Repair Proj ect ("proposed project" or "project") is <br />located at the Santa Ana Public Library ("Library") building, or 26 Civic Center <br />Plaza in the City of Santa Ana (City) in Orange County, California 92701. The Library building is <br />situated on the northern portion of the parcel identified by Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 008- <br />036-35 and is primarily surrounded by commercial uses to the north and other <br />institutional/civic center buildings (e.g., Santa Ana Court House, City Hall of Santa Ana, and <br />associated parking structures) to the east, south, and west. Appendix includes photos of the <br />existing Library building. <br />Description of the Proposed Project [24 CFR 50.12 & 58.32; 40 CFR 1508.25]: <br />The proposed project would involve improvements to the Library's existing interior ceiling tiles due <br />to their weathered conditions and likelihood for leakage and interior damage from rainfall. Specific <br />improvements include the replacement of extant interior ceiling tile with a more contemporary <br />acoustic ceiling tile system. The improvements would not alter'the Library's use as it would continue <br />to be a public library after the improvements. <br />EXHIBIT A <br />
