It is an international, vendor -neutral certification that recognizes a technician's ability to describe the features and functions of networking components and to install, configure and troubleshoot basic networking hardware, protocols and services. CompTIA Security+ validates the knowledge and skills of a professional in the field of security, one of the fastest -growing fields in IT. Security + proves competency in system security, network infrastructure, access control and organizational security. CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CSA+) is an international, vendor -neutral cybersecurity certification that applies behavioral analytics to improve the overall state of IT security. CSA+ validates critical knowledge and skills that are required to prevent, detect and combat cybersecurity threats. Prerequisites A High school diploma or equivalency is required. Acquired Skills Students will be able to identify different types of computers, hardware components, manipulate and control Windows desktop, files, and disks, and change system settings. In addition, students will gain an understanding of how software applications work and how to install and configure them. For every devise and process students will have a conceptual and hands on troubleshooting experience. Understanding networking and networking cabling, hubs, switches, routers, bridges, servers, workstations, IP subnetting, WAN/LAN typology, and firewalls.
