This course <br />Spreadsheets I teaches you how to start Excel, create and print worksheets, get on-line help, and create <br />simple charts. Topics include: <br />• Basic concepts and terminology <br />• Excel menus and dialog boxes <br />• Creating and modifying worksheets <br />• Copying, deleting, and moving cells <br />• Defining and replicating formulas <br />• Formatting worksheets <br />• Printing worksheets <br />Prerequisite: None <br />60 Hours Lecture <br />20 Hours Lab <br />7.0 Quarter Credits <br />CIT106: Electronic Learn the fundamental skills required to create and use Excel spreadsheets and <br />Spreadsheets II successfully use tables and table tools in a worksheet. This course teaches you how to <br />apply, create, and modify various types of charts, and learned to create a table and <br />format the table as well as work with PivotTable and PivotChart to enhance the <br />appearance of data. Topics include: <br />• Creating simple chart <br />• Creating a custom toolbar <br />• Styles <br />• Using the IF and VLOOKUP functions <br />• Creating and working with pivot tables <br />• Outlining and consolidating works <br />• Using the Goal Seek, Solver and Scenario <br />• Displaying and protecting worksheets <br />Prerequisite: CIT105 must be taken before CIT106 <br />60 Hours Lecture <br />20 Hours Lab <br />7.0 Quarter Credits <br />CIT201: Computerized This course starts with an introduction to basic accounting terms and concepts and walks <br />Accounting I students through the QuickBooks set-up process. Use the leading small business <br />accounting package to organize records, prepare financial reports, handle payroll, and <br />automatically figure federal and state taxes, as well as withholding and employer <br />contributions. Throughout, attention is devoted to creating easy -to -read statements, <br />including profit and loss, balance sheets, accounts receivable, accounts payable, budget, <br />payroll, and project reports, as well as graphs that give students a quick snapshot of <br />overall business.
