33 <br />Attendance Students with more than 10 consecutive days of unexpected absences will be placed in a <br />Requirement two -week warning period, notified by email, until probation period is initiated through a <br />probation meeting with the Education Director. If the student does not follow the proper <br />procedure within the given timeline, the student will be withdrawn. <br />• Students with less than an overall attendance rate of 78% will be placed on a two - <br />week warning period, notified by email, until probation period is initiated through <br />a probation meeting with the Education Director. <br />• Students with less than an average of 70% grade average during a given course <br />will be placed in a two -week warning period, notified by email, until probation <br />period is initiated through a probation meeting with the Education Director. <br />Online Attendance Students attending online are required to participate weekly in each course in which they <br />Requirement are enrolled. Minimally, a student must submit a gradable item at least twice each week in <br />order to be marked present for that week. A gradable item is defined as a threaded <br />discussion, submission of an assignment or completion of a test or quiz. Students are <br />welcome to complete their online coursework on -campus or off -campus. Computer labs are <br />available for student use. <br />Students who are studying in the US on an 1-20 are required to participate in their online <br />course from the campus to receive attendance credit. See the schedule of classes to <br />determine when proctors are available for the courses in which you are enrolled.
